The small retail space facing a heavily trafficked commercial street expands the pedestrian space that maintains a visual connection to the streetscape while establishing a buffered zone to pause for a coffee before jumping on the bus. The raw concrete shell is left exposed at that intermediary space, the white surfaces (quartz counter, plywood casework, tile) define where the espresso is delivered to the demitasse.
